about

This album explores the myth of Nut the Egyptian goddess of the sky and the night. Each track has for title one of the epithets that the ancient Egyptians granted her. This goddess swallowed the sun every evening to give birth to it every morning. It is the only civilization for which the sky was feminine and the earth masculine.

I also wanted to pay homage to a cat who accompanied me for many years. I received her on the occasion of my 13th birthday when I was going through a very difficult emotional period. Spontaneously I gave her the name of the Egyptian goddess. She was black as the night, feline as the moon.

To make the vastness dance with the innermost is at the heart of his inspiration. ... more
